Stanley 369 Flashlight
By Orion
I picked one of these up a couple of months ago just because it was on for half price and besides, I kind of liked the idea of the tripod and adjustable head.

I
brought it home and Mrs. Orion immediately claimed it, so I had to go get
another one.

The light uses 3, 6 or 9 AA batteries and has a low
battery indicator just above the ON switch. Press the ON switch once, and one
LED lights up, press it again and three light. Press it a third time and all six
LEDs light up.
The tripod legs are held together by a magnet on a
center post between the tripod legs. When you press the button below the ON
switch, it moves this post downward away from the steel inserts on each leg,
releasing the spring loaded legs and opening the tripod.
Each leg holds 3 batteries. The batteries are loaded by
unscrewing the caps on the bottoms of the legs. The caps are rubber bottomed to
prevent the legs from sliding around on smooth surfaces.
Overall length is 11" closed.

The
head adjusts through 90 degrees, allowing different lighting angles.
The flashlight is water resistant at best. Certainly not
waterproof.
It's extremely bright, especially with all 6 LEDs lit.
All in all, very handy, especially when you need a
freestanding light.
Where they really shine
(bad pun intended) is when used while changing a tire at
night or any other job where you'd need both hands free.
They also make a tiny single LED version that uses watch
batteries.
